Mi amigos y yo fuimos a la restaurante cerca de la catedral. Bebemos cervezas y sidra. Fuimos muy bueno, vimos muchas cosas muy interesantes nuestro primera día en la ciudad.

Martes de campo

El martes, Oviedo celebra el martes de campo. Las personas van al parque a comer bollo preñao y bebidas sidra. Los estudiantes en la Universidad no tienen escuela. En martes de campo fui al “Parque de inverno” con mi amigo Jordan y su madre en España. Caminamos con los perros de su madre en el parque de perros. Después de tomar los perros en la casa de Jordan, caminamos al parque por todas las personas y sus familias. Las familias en el parque juga al fútbol y en el sol. La temperatura esta buena en el parque. En Utah, los parques son más pequeños que los parques en España. Me gustan los grandes parques de España. Después de ir al “Parque de invierno”, Jordan se reunió con nuestros otros amigos de la escuela para ir al “Parque San Francisco”. En el parque todos jugaron al Frisbee y miraba las tiendas. Me gusta el martes de campo de vacaciones.

First Entry: what I anticipate for my study abroad experience.

I have traveled to Spain before, so I am excited to travel back to Europe. I was in Madrid about four years ago. I have not been to Oviedo, I am really excited to see and live in Oviedo for the next month. I dislike flying for eighteen hours but it will be worth it in the end. I hope that everything goes well once I get to Spain. I can understand Spanish pretty well but speaking it is harder to do. I have been practicing with my mom because my mom speaks Spanish fluently. I will be traveling with Collin McDermott; I look forward to flying with someone that I know. Collin and I both work at the Salt Lake Sports Complex. I hope to learn Spanish fluently; I think living in Spain for a month will help me to be immersed in the culture and the language. I am excited and a bit nervous to meet my host mother. I have been exchanging emails with her to break the ice, so I think everything will go smoothly.
