First Entry: what I anticipate for my study abroad experience.

I have traveled to Spain before, so I am excited to travel back to Europe. I was in Madrid about four years ago. I have not been to Oviedo, I am really excited to see and live in Oviedo for the next month. I dislike flying for eighteen hours but it will be worth it in the end. I hope that everything goes well once I get to Spain. I can understand Spanish pretty well but speaking it is harder to do. I have been practicing with my mom because my mom speaks Spanish fluently. I will be traveling with Collin McDermott; I look forward to flying with someone that I know. Collin and I both work at the Salt Lake Sports Complex. I hope to learn Spanish fluently; I think living in Spain for a month will help me to be immersed in the culture and the language. I am excited and a bit nervous to meet my host mother. I have been exchanging emails with her to break the ice, so I think everything will go smoothly.
